This chair is pretty spectacular. I love being able to carry it on my back and not on my shoulder. I actually also really love the foot rest, definitely a huge plus. I almost wish I would have splurged for the cabana shade thing, but I wonder if that would tip the chair over on to the "heavy to carry" side?

Either way, I would definitely recommend this chair. Only other complaint is the size of the cup holder. Good enough for a standard cup, but it's quite flimsy and definitely not large enough for my bigger water bottles.

This is a FANTASTIC chair. It sits low and is great for festivals, movies in the park, concerts, drive in movies, camping, and other events where you need to walk and keep your hands free (it straps on your back like a backpack). It sits low to the ground so it doesn't disturb the people around you. There is also a large pocket in the back that holds alot! I store a Snuggie in there and use it when I go the Outdoor Movie Festival in Chicago. It's great! Everyone around me always asks where I got the chair.

If you can't decide if it would be a good buy, I say get it. I don't regret it and use it all the time!

As a perfect companion to DrumCircular events around the country, the WearEver LR-5 BackPack Lounger is truly the best!

We've had other portable chairs, but none compares to its features, which include:

* Portability: made with a relatively lightweight frame, easy to carry like a backpack with two straps and plenty of storage space to stow away and hide personal items

* Positioning: it has FOUR seating options, including a fold-out foot rest, which converts to a laptop book holder for easy reading

* Wood arm rests: do not get as hot as plastic or steel

* Headrest: adjustable

* Beverage holder: somewhat standard

* Weather resistance: rugged 600 denier polyester fabric, supports up to 250 lbs

* No assembly is required; however, it may take a few foldings to figure out how to close the chair; either way, it's all one piece without separate attachments.

Not many seats on the market offer so many features at a great price!

Saw this chair being used by a fellow beachgoer and asked where it came from, the reply was from Amazon. Opened an account and am now the proud owner of two perfect chairs to use on the beach or wherever.
