4Just Right  Jan 30, 2010
Our son-in-law was looking for a beach chair he could sling on his back and bike to Lake Michigan to enjoy a morning at the beach. This was perfect. Sturdy, but lightweight, with pockets to carry a book, snacks, etc. And the price was great.

5The Best  Jan 18, 2010
I live at the beach in Florida which means that metal rusts. HOWEVER, this chair after 3 years looks as if it were brand new. I love it because I pack all my stuff - book, newspaper, lunch, beverage, iphone, cd player etc into the deep & large expandable back pack. I then have my arms free to carry a small cooler. I also clip an umbrella to the side. The padded back-pack arm bands are adjustable. I'm set for a day at the beach.

This chair feels solid... not the cheap flimsy chairs... and again, I DOESN'T RUST!!!!

The arm rest adjusters are easy to put the chair almost all the way back. The cup older is big enough for a wide-body cup. The holder has mesh at the bottom so it doesn't collect dirt & dried liquid. The chair model I have has a leg rest that can also fold out if you want your feet up off the sand/ground. I recommend the optional leg rest model- it's made by the same folks who made this one, but oh so much more comfortable.

The price has dropped considerably on these chairs since I bought mine in '07.

5What a great chair!  Dec 19, 2009
Got the camo version of this because it was on sale, and it turned out to be the BEST chair for my living room color & all. I got a house the size of a shoebox, & had to have a small portable chair: this is IT. Would also be just the thing for a dorm, apt., motor home, trailer home, etc because it's compact. I would imagine it's fine for someone up to 6 ft, I'm 5'6", and slim. Wouldn't recommend for a porker person, though.

5SOLID & COMFORTABLE  Dec 10, 2009
I have only used these chairs(2) for one camping season as of yet but the product is as advertised. The Aluminum frame is suitably lite while being extremely solid & displays very little flex under load. The wood armrests give me a kick for providing a quirky dash of class when while camping; & the chair itself is extremely comfortable. I have yet to use the storage bag on back the backpack travel function works quite well & the frame of the chair does not dig into my back when carrying as I had initially anticipated. I would definitely recommend this product!

5Perfect Beach Chair  Aug 06, 2009
I found this sharp-looking chair to be very comfortable, as did my very envious friends at the beach! Yes, it's low to the ground, but certainly higher than a typical sand chair. I don't understand the complaint about the width - I thought it was perfect and I'm an XL. It's well made, stable, and not too difficult to get in and out of. The cup holder is way cool (wish there was one on both arms) and the tote/pocket is large enough to carry everything you need at the beach, including an over-sized towel, large water bottles, sunscreen, book, and much more. It's hard to appreciate the convenience of the backpack feature until you've experienced walking to the beach hands-free. I like it so much that I'm giving this one to a friend and getting the WearEver Backpack Lounger. Since I found myself wishing for a foot rest, the lounger should be the ultimate perfect beach chair! Now, if they would just make a lounger with an optional attached umbrella/canopy, that would be pure heaven.
