my son loved this for X-mas and since purchased a custum board and still rides this one a lot. Holds up well and arrived quickly.

My 7 year old daughter loves this skateboard. It is a little long for her but she dosn't mind. Good price, good quality.

This is my 9 yr old son's second Mongoose in under a year and just like the first it isn't very durable. When they state "beginner board" it's for a reason! It isn't meant for use beyond basic riding. My son loved this skateboard when he got it, however now after just two months the grip tape and the wood on the kicktails is already starting to chip in chunks. He doesn't even do any complicated tricks, just ollies, kickflips, basic things so this is ridiculous. For Christmas I'm getting him a better quality pro board, I won't buy Mongoose again unless it's for a kid who would barely use it.

Good gift for a girl Nov 08, 2009
Our 8 year old daughter has been wanting a skateboard for quite some time. We were hesitant to buy one at a lot of the local mega retailers because the quality looked rough. I was also looking for one that had more of a girl motif to it and not a Barbie style one. This one definitely fit the bill and our daughter loves it. She received it for her birthday a couple of weeks ago and has been playing with it quite a bit. It has good quality and I'm sure that your child (male or female) will enjoy it!

Bought for my seven year old daughter. Board is of good quality but the wheels are very slow moving which results in a lot of work to get any speed. Would not recommend. Spend a little more and get a better board.
